Today is the 83rd anniversay of the Mass Kinder Trespass when about 400 ramblers set out on 23rd April 1932 from Hayfield to trespass on what was then known as the forbidden mountain but were confronted by gamekeepers from the wealthy landowners. What happened next was crucial event in the battle for freedom to roam on Britain's mountains & moorlands.I will be up on the southern edge of Kinder tomorrow taking in the views, I have been over there a few times already this year & have enjoyed my experience, Thanks guys 🙂🙂
