Any interest in a Cambridge day out or weekend?

Let's get one thing straight. There are no mountains ๐Ÿ˜€. Was thinking of a social event with a few activities thrown in. Possibly a walk/run at Wimpole Estate, a punt on the Cam and/or a swim and a picnic at Grantchester.

Sounds interesting. ....no hills for miles...a doddle whatever you do!. Punting sounds fun and Wimpole Estate must be worth exploring๐Ÿ™‚

I'd definitely be up for a day out in Cambridge as I haven't been there for years. And I'm a punt virgin so that would be a fun activity. Hope I'll be free of whatever date is decided on.

I believe they've opened a new YHA in Cambridge (or refurbished it). Could this be an omen?!! ๐Ÿ˜€

I'll be interested as well, as long as I'm free. As you say June/July getting busy, but august would be good for me at the moment. Thanks tc

Doesn't bode well does it??? I am not even going to try and explain my muddle over the dates!! Once I've worked out when I am free I will post an invite.

TC: If you avoid Mitch's weekend in Hathersage (9-10th Aug) I'm up for exploring Cambridge ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi TC little confused Skye is May and Summer Ball is 26th June. Would prefer it if it didn't clash with Stargazers invite at beginning of August but will understand if it does. I'm still very interested ๐Ÿ™‚

TC 03/03/2014 21:42

Bumping this up as it seems to have got buried since I was last here. Those interested - would August suit? June is already looking busy.

TC 09/02/2014 20:26

Thanks for quick responses. As the invitations calendar is pretty full, this will inevitably overlap with something else. Initial thoughts on dates or either the weekend starting Friday 23rd June or the one after. Both clash with the Skye trip though. Might be able to do a date in August but would can't say when that might be as yet.
