Tommorow Dave is competing in the Spine Challenger.This is a 108 mile race along the Pennine Way from Edale to Hawes. (Crazy fool!!)I have no doubt that he will complete it.Come on ODers let's all wish him good luck!!!๐

Just got in from a afternoon and evening out and have been on my mobile through the day checking the challenge leader board.Excellent progress from Dave so much admiration for such a lovely man.Well Done ๐
Already 15 DNFs out of 41 starters. Just still being in the race is an achievement.
I reckon about 7miles but he will be knackered so probably a very slow one..but knowing Dave he will smell out a pintx

I am currently sat in a pub in Hawes,eating chips and drinking real ale...think Dave is about 10th,so proud hoping he arrives before last orders.Thanks for the support.We can all celebrate at our house warming..
Great to come back from my day walk & see that Dave has gone over Pen y Ghent & will soon be joining the Pennine Bridlewway with perhaps better conditions underfoot heading north to Hawes ๐

Met Dave at Gargrave at 10.He filled up on big breakfast.He is doing so well walking/running now for about 26 hrs.He is in good spirits and as ever still smiling.Should be in Malham about 1ish.Go for it Dave xx

I'd never heard of it before either, it's not the kind of invite that would pull me in :~ I have met Dave a few times & hope he is getting along well & safely. There have been a few mishaps because its slippery underfoot.
