For those arriving Early on Thursday. The Abergavenny Arms in Rodmell (BN7 3EZ) is open all day.
Walk option, go down the lane next to the pub, sign posted 'Monks House' just after Monks house continue strait ahead and go down the small lane towards the river instead of following road around to the left. When you reach the river turn right and then after about 20 mins right again when you reach the south downs way towards Southease. Soon after Southeas Church there is a footpath on the right sign posted for Rodmell.
