Yes it so good to be walking around LLangollon again and meeting friends again.Following the severe weather,it was wonderful to see new born Lambs and reflect how nature can restore order if allowed to do so๐Ÿ˜€

Don't worry Wiggy they will be!! ๐Ÿ™‚ They have healed (new skin) but still a little too tender to the touch to warrant putting on boots and walking uphill. Can manage shoes (just about) without plasters.
Have a good days walking girls (and Keith) ๐Ÿ™‚ In my attempt not to slack too much I will be in the gym on the cross trainer for a very short while on Friday! :~๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Hi Ruth,to save further complications as this area is not well known to some,we will meet at the Pontcysllte Aqueduct Visitor Centre GR SJ270420 OR LL20 7TP AT 10:00.There are car parks both sides of the Aqueduct and can be accessed along the A5 at Froncysyllte or the A 539 turning off at Trevor. They are free, but may be time limited. The walk is around 9 miles, not challenging, but lovely scenery. When at Castle will see what options are open if time allows,as i have to be back here by 18:00.Any queries, please let me know๐Ÿ™‚

ruth 09/04/2013 22:22

Not sure Claire depends on how long the walk is.

ruth 09/04/2013 20:00

see you fri Keith & claire it be nice to meet you ๐Ÿ™‚

ruth 09/04/2013 18:59

Its been over 25years since I was last at worlds end, it may be easier if we meet in the longstay car park on the main road before you go ovver the bridge and then take it from there๐Ÿ™‚

landranger68 09/04/2013 17:59

I would need to look at map if it is worlds end๐Ÿ™‚

landranger68 09/04/2013 17:58

Hi Claudette,i don`t think i can carry you and two Rucksacks.
OK Ruth,where would you prefer.

The Mind is Willing 09/04/2013 14:45

This would have been a nice one to do - I like a nice aquaduct! Perhaps you'll do it again when my feet are up to it :~๐Ÿ™‚. Make a note of everything Ruth and you can lead it next time!๐Ÿ˜‰

ruth 09/04/2013 14:36

Ok Llangollen it is then, what time and where do you want to meet, can get there early if you want๐Ÿ™‚
Are you joining us Claire?

landranger68 09/04/2013 12:40

Hi Ruth, yes,it is on Offa`s Dyke Path. Also, there is the Aquaduct through Trevor Woods, along Panarama Way,up to the Castle into LLagollon with a return along the canal an an option.Plus anything i can think of๐Ÿ™‚

DebbieJ 09/04/2013 09:19

No probs Ruth, think I might take myself off and do the Moel ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ™‚

ruth 09/04/2013 08:39

top_spot (john) 08/04/2013 08:00

Hello Ruth. How about the Howgill Fells from Sedbergh? RAC route planner says it's 1 hour 27 minutes for you. The walk can be any length you like of course.

SteveDH 07/04/2013 21:07

Hi ruth, if you or anyone else is ever walking in North York's Moors, best little walk to do is to Mallyan Spout waterfall, Goathland, and then beyond through the gorge, south west. Splendid, but a little rough going. Gladly show anyone...๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

ruth 07/04/2013 20:11

Hi Steve, nice area but a little too far to go for a day outโ˜น

SteveDH 07/04/2013 18:27
