Is there any appetite for an automatic "saved searches" function, possibly delivering new members that meet your saved search to your email address twice a week?

Yes a like button would be nice as we could apply it to a specific comment on a forum or picture a bit like FB. Currently we can onloy add a smiley face to the feed snd hope people know which comment it refers too. All said and done it's something I can live without because I have stated "if it ain't broke don't fix it!" Me and my big mouth! <img src='theme/emoticon_confused.png' /><img src='theme/emoticon_evilgrin.png' /><img src='theme/emoticon_evilgrin.png' /><img src='theme/emoticon_evilgrin.png' />

Spam slows me down too....spam slows me down too....spam slows me down too...;

Aah, I've leant something today <img src='theme/emoticon_grin.png' /> Certainly slows me down.

Saved searches are thus shelved. For now anyway.

The spam codes are to slow down the spammers - they have to type the code. Thus they can't write a script that submits 1000 emails a minute. Spamming has to be done by hand, and therefore costly!

And what is the point of spam codes, other than as a reminder to book that appointment with the optician?

TC 16/01/2013 20:47

Not used any search facility myself but it has occurred to me that all the responses so far have been negative. As this has been set up as a dating site as well as a walking/outdoor site, those that might want this facility might now feel intimidated. Don't forget you can message site admin privately.

Not for me either, though those pesky spam codes are beating my glasses most times.

Maybe its our eyesight JW, cos I have the same problem! Not for me Site Admin thanks <img src='theme/emoticon_smile.png' />

Can't say I understand...so it's a NO from me.

Out of interest are the spam codes getting harder or do I need to visit the opticians

No use to me I don't think.
Could we have a like button, if you like someone's comment like they do on FB<img src='theme/emoticon_grin.png' />
