Staffordshire Woodlands invite
I would like to thank the five hardy members who followed my invite and learned how a walk can be considerably extended in length and height when you add enough loops and get lost in the woods. We also learned a lot about how bad mud can be, from a bit to quite a bit to abysmal and even landslides. Well, we survived all of it and even made it back to the cafe just in time for the last orders.

Richard, You always kneel at the end of your bed, to hide your wallet under that loose floorboard....
Thanks Mike, for a great day. Lovely to catch up with O D ers that I haven’t seen since before Covid, despite the mud and slippery slopes!
Thanks Mike for another full and interesting day in the north staffs woodland. A bit more challenging than last week but I'll be kneeling at the end of the bed tonight giving thanks that it didn't rain!
Thanks Mike for a brilliant day...It was more like an SAS induction course than an OD walk....Great fun!! Cheers mate....😀👍
A true adventure Mike. The sort that made you feel really happy you got back alive.😂 Nothing deters ODers. We laugh at signs that say danger do not enter. If you thought that was frightening you should have driven back with me.
