Only testing the water...re: South downs in April?
Several of you mentioned at the weekend that you would be interested in visiting sunny sussex for a weekend of walking. I have also had a couple of messages and a couple of posts on my existing invite. This is what I have in mind...Saturday,Starting from Eastbourne an option of a 12 or 22 mile walk over Beachy Head & seven sisters finishing in Alfriston. Plenty of accomodation options. Sunday,option of a 7 or 13 mile walk back to Eastbourne. The idea being that the different walk lengths will apeal to all walkers. Can put people up on the Friday eve or arrange b&b in Bexhill. Thinking end of April after Easter hols. Ideas and thoughts welcome, once have idea of how many are interested will p

Several people have contacted me regarding dates so going to suggest weekend of May 12th?. Know it's a long way off, but hope this suits all.
Great that so many of you want to travel down, will have to round up my southern colleagues to help organize a top OD weekend.
