biking/ cycling
Just taking the temperature..
Is anybody interested in doing some cycling, some day rides but also some over a few days?
I am thinking along the lines of starting with maybe 25 miles or thereabouts and building up from there.
Based in West Yorkshire ...
Some of you already know me from walks and hopefully will vouch for me!!!! That way new comers will not be discouraged.
It would be good to get some regular activities on pursuits other than walking.

It would have to be a weekend for me but june or july good, it may give me time to get my bike fitness up <img src='theme/emoticon_smile.png' />

It will NOT be the Easter weekend.
I will wait a while to see what other interest there is and then come up with a couple of rides to start with.
Jo I will try and remember to ask you and others for availability and then try and set dates to suit as many as possible.

Definately up for sone cycling in Peaks when snow goes.More of a mountain biker but would be up for some road biking

Sadly Peak District is too far for a day ride Trekkie but I would try and make a 'weekend' of it if I could make it to anything you arrange. I work mist Sundays though so I tend to do Friday/Saturday when I can get away.

Just trying to get some idea of interest first. BUT it will NOT be Mountain Biking with a group, more likely to be trails and quieter roads.
An Hybrid would be well suited.
Hi Jo, do you work shifts? If so how much in advance do you know your schedule for being available at weekends? I generally work Mon-Friday.
Great there is some interest. I will get some ideas together which hopefully are accessible and flexible.
The rides will probably be once it gets a little warmer so your pinkies don't turn blue.
