Another newbie taking the plunge

Hello! I've also been looking at the site for last year and am just plucking up the courage to introduce myself. Looking forward to meeting new friends and joining some of the walks in the Lakes/Dales/Peak District - but also hoping there's a few people out there who'd be interested in walks in West Yorkshire/Lancashire? <img src='theme/emoticon_smile.png' />

Thanks everyone for such a warm welcome! Karel, that sounds like a good group, would love more details - although I love to see new places it'd be fab to do some local walks in between without having to drive <img src='theme/emoticon_smile.png' />
