Christmas Party
Minty went along to look at the chosen venue for me on Monday at Cheddar. After much discussion we decided it was too small for our requirements. So we're back to square one! :~
I'm currently looking at Ross on Wye - the Forest of Dean might be good for walks. Let me know what you all think ๐

We will be there TMiW....keep the numbers up..๐๐
I'll be up for that - knights and wenches - sounds like a lot of fun. Are we going with the original dates, last weekend of November?
Claudette can you let me have your address please and I'll send you a cheque for the whole amount due to get it out the way now
Thanks
๐
Sounds like fun and would maybe like to join in but not being a driver would be interested to know if any OD member from the New Forest area is joining in the celebrations at all??
Newfie
Sod it, I'm coming ๐. I'll send you a cheque on Mon TMIW.
๐๐๐๐๐
Count me in TMIW and let me know how to pay you.
I'm looking forward to having a wicked knight!!๐๐
Struggling with moral dilemma as I have already promised to be somewhere else that weekend but it sounds sooooo much fun. Have changed my "no" to a "maybe", I am weakening!!:~๐
Anyone not attending Malham can send me ยฃ14 in one go if they're sending me a cheque.
OK we need 40-45 people to attend which will mean ยฃ51.29-55.45 per person plus ยฃ10 per bottle of house wine. Any less and of course the price will go up as it is a fixed fee for upto 44 people. So I need ยฃ3 now and a further ยฃ11 by the end of May.
No your not Minty, your only has old as....
Something tells me minty is getting over excited.
I think some people should stop using predictive text or take their time!!!! :~:~๐๐
Oohh i could dress up as a Wench.Sounds fun
Some of us are almost medieval anyway ??!!
I like the idea of the castle ๐
That looks lovely and medieval would be good ๐
Six months to make the costumes.
Have had a response back from the YHA at Ross on Wye - some bad some good.
Bad news I they can't do it โนโน.
Good news is the castle at St Braivels is available - yeah!!! ๐๐๐
Maybe we should go with the medieval theme?!! :~๐
Hi,how about a "Moment" on a Canoo,on the Wye,standing upright in your Paul Robson splendour๐ฎ, singing that famous song from Saunders of The River: AEE A QOU YEG A DERH๐
I volunteer minty, after all he has all the gear and looks like a proper professional.
Any members willing to lead would be much appreciated! ๐๐
I don't know many damn good pauls I'm afraid Minty. Hey I learnt from the best - that's all I'm saying!๐๐
Me cunning? I'm sure I don't know what you mean!!!! ๐๐ Keith if you followme God knows where you'd end up!! :~๐ฎ๐
It was more of a request seeing as I was gullable enough to let Minty & Davem talk me in to organising again!
Was that a cunning trap i wrote myself into.Could end up like a scene from UP THE JUNGLE๐
Yes Ihave seen a small walk for Symonds Yat which I thought could be done on the Sunday before we all head off our seperate ways and I've seen a 12 mile walk that also takes in Symonds Yat and I'm sure there must be several walk through/around the Forest to keep people happy. So Peppasmum & LR67 can I rely on you both to lead walks?
Hi Claudette, anywhere not too far south, but the same weeks would be fine. Will be walking through the Foest of Dean on my way to Rhossili in June.Ross on Wye,is a good area for relativey easy walking.Boating on the River when sober is great๐
Yes, same dates Michemit ๐ But who knows where?!! ๐ฎ:~๐๐
will the dates stay the same ?
