Beatrix, see Mitch's walk on 13th July from Cutthroat Bridge nr the Ladybower Inn over the edges & down to Calver, less milage & all the views. We were out for 7 hrs but took it nice & easy ๐
I bet your hips really hurt Beatrix from walking 24 miles. Nutter!๐
Brighton was very nice today, great food, great company, and very warm an sunny ๐๐๐
Sunny Morecambe/Heysham Head today, scrambling over rock pools with my two lovely grand girls ๐
It was up & over Derwent Edge too, we had to go to the Ladybower Inn after to rehydrate ๐
Fantastic on top of Helvellyn range today and too hot at patter dale after...just had to quench thirst with San Miguel . Sunburnt nose! ๐
today I finished up the back garden and made a start on the front garden already. Soaked up lots of sunshine today and it was lovely
it was in Cambridge, while at the Cambs Beer and Cider Fest' bathed in sunshine.
Blue John and Fresh air, and anybody else for that matter. Sure you can come out for walks when I retire on my beautiful home island Trinidad & Tobago. Been anticipating it for quite some years now since my children have grown, and working out a little plan. Not only is the weather fantastic and cheaper for clothes, but you won't need central heating too๐
My forecast on "WeatherPro" is quite good for Friday & saturday over there, quite sunny with chance of light shower in the afternoon or early evening on saturday ๐
Its been a fantastic sunny day in Nottinghamshire today, hoping it will be a repeat of today next Saturday in Shropshire๐๐
Had tons of sun all day here in Anglesey, cool breeze mind.
I'm with you Madnad, this weather sucks allright.
Caribbean sounds like a great plan.
So many places to choose from!
Shorts & flipflops everday....save a fortune on clothes ๐
Was worth it though jo
Glad were home & dry now though ๐
We have been like drowned rats today with high winds, hail stone and knee deep in bogs. Bloody awful weather but the newts and frogs are happy. ๐๐
Can we come over for some walks? ๐
I will have to retire back in the Caribbean some day soon. This weather sucks! :~
Forecast here for Sat & Sunday is sunshine, Mon not so good ๐
Its been all sorts here today, sun, rain, wind, cloudy, very dark clouds, hail, bigger hail, back to sunshine again...etc :~

I'm coming to Shropshire armed with my thermals and ski gear!! Not sure what the weather is going to bring Shropshire weekend! Thank you Scout for the warm wishes. Will be a good one tomorrow night when I get myself a bit charged:~
Happy birthday. Hope it was a good one๐
It was snowing in Buxton this morning!๐
as you guys can see from my profile, its now automatically changed from '46' to '47' nearing the half of century fast!
Thank you all so much for the greetings! I feel like you're part of my family already booohoo..... very touching your comments! Although the sun was out, I went to work and had a very quiet one yesterday but going out on the town tomorrow with my gf and another friend to paint it RED!!! Think I will bring my thermals to Shropshire and Wales AR since its still cold and not warming up muchโนโน
Happy birthday MadNad for yesterday, hope it was a good one๐ You see the sun can shine when it wants to, lets hope it does for the Shropshire weekend and Wales week๐
Happy birthday,MadNad ๐

Scout, I can take on FL anyday, bring it on I say๐ Miss Babs, don't panic just yet, I'm sending him your way tomorrow before it starts pissing down with rain over the weekend. Look out for your flash MB๐๐
You do realise that if FL reads your comment you'll never hear the end of it don't you ๐
Wishful thinking SA. He's a he and that is why he's hiding but he flashed at me today and it was so gooooooooooood!!!๐๐
She's a she, and not a he.
She is popping out from behind the clouds from time to time here and blessing me with little kisses. She is my mistress. I have plenty of sun kisses all over my face (and elsewhere) to prove it.
My wife has finally conceded that if we all go on holiday together and make a threesome its more fun all round.๐
It was lovely and hot Sunday in Bakewell๐
Philtheetiler, I'll come fishing with you next time for sure.
Keith, I had no sun at all yesterday but only bouts of it on Sunday when it did decide to show itself. I was so excited that I did put my roof down in the car for a bit, but then the sun hid itself again. Think I might be suffering from SADS in May. MADNAD has SADS! Now there's a rhyme for you.โน
That's global warming for you!
Well believe it or not I've got a touch of sunstroke from yestersday peak district walk with Michemit as when the sun did shine it was very warm๐ Its pot luck with the british weather depends where that jet stream they keep mentioning is, if it moves up to northern Scotland summer can begin ๐
You should of been in Dorset or Somerset this weekend MN, I spent most of the weekend fishing and now look like I have just returned from a week abroad.
MD, got the woolly slippers on as we speak! Let's see if it warms up after May?
My nan used to have a saying, ne'er cast a clout till May is out, in other words keep your woollies on till the end of May or until the May blossom is out.
Maybe you should have turned the lorry around Minty so the left arm could have been toasted. My face got sun burnt on the South Downs two weekends ago. I loved it!๐
suffered severe sunburn on Ben Nevis Friday๐
Phil, its defo Le Sun and not La Sun. In Latin its el Sol which is definitely masculine, so its a he!! Sorry to ruin your take on the sexism there๐
Hi HPM, its been dark and dismal all day here in London too. Still have to put the heating on some nights, just too absurd this weather. Really getting me down. It puts such a damper on trekking when the sun isn't out. You'll love this site, everyone here is very friendly and lots to do every month, so you will be spoilt for choice. ๐
Hi MN, are you sure it is Le sun and not La sun?
๐ It was supposed to be a nice day here in the Peak District, but it's been dark and dismal all day!
Never mind MadNad, we'll appreciate it more when it finally arrives!!! ๐
