Hello. It's Lucy here. What a great walk and day I had in Llangollen. Thought I wouldn't find it, but I did (an hour early), thought I would be shy but I wasn't. Met the nicest people I have met for a long time and saw some great views too! Was a bit nervous about the pub afterwards- would it be rounds or what? But we each bought our own drinks- which is absolutely as it should be unless you are a couple-and I felt comfortable and valued. This is a really special site. Anyone who doesn't like it must be mad! Thanks, in particular, to Ruth- but to everyone. x

Hi Lucy. I am a softy but your genuine comments almost brought a tear to my eye (serious) Like you,I have met some more fantastic people today.

Glad you're first walk left such a nice impression. It's always terrifying and daunting the first meet but everyone knows exactly how you feel and do their best to put you at your ease 🙂
