Things which improve with age
top_spot (john)I went to the local pharmacy this morning and discovered that I can now be as ill as I like free of charge. That, together with recent comments about this site keeping you young, made me consider what things actually improve with age. Here are a few which spring to mind and which I am writing down very quickly before I forget:
I am now brilliant at falling asleep in front of the telly.
My ability to puff when walking uphill is coming on steadily.
I have never been better at, erm ................... ah yes, remembering what I was going to say next.
Now I'm sure there was something else .................. ah well. If you think of it please feel free to add. Now what do I do to g

The memories we can remember also improve with age. They always seems to have a Rose tint don't you think! lol
There were too many to mention by name preggy47 and some bigger than others 😋🙂 But all enjoyed immensely 🙂

The friendships on this site get better with age. It really is so nice to see those I haven't seen for awhile and this forum helps us all stay in touch so it's even lovelier when we meet face to face. Yesterday was a good day for that 🙂 And of course I love all the hugging. There's nowt like a big hug! 😀

I put lots of things down or in draws and then can't find them,
There in such safe places even I can't find them😀😀😀
The mobile phone is often dead so can't hear it either if I try to call it from the house phone!😈 And if I forget where the house is, then I will defo section myself in the mental institute!:~

I've solved that one, I phone my mobile from the house phone!
I've been told that as I age I look younger. My friends and neighbours hate me and my sons often get mistaken for my brothers, or so they all say to make me feel better! I am excellent at misplacing my mobile phone and glasses, and then get very short tempered because I can't find my phone without my glasses :~

Its very slippy and abit smelly on a hot day but i always know it'll be there when i get back to it after a walk 🙂

What about Bonzais i had some of them i used to sit there like that bloke of Karate Kid snipping bits off them needless to say they died but i do use is technique when polishing the car wax on wank off 🙂

I'm totally in agreement with the gin thing and I feel that it is a little sad that I am so totally excited about my first pair of reading glasses but they make me feel really intelligent . I am finally a grown-up!!!! or not.....

Lots of things do improve with age - especially our appreciation of what we have, like this site. Pictures and forums can put a smile on my face that can last a whole day and I really wouldn't be without! 🙂
