Cromford & Matlock Bath

It might have rained a bit but we found hills, woods, heights(of Abraham) & views before descending to shelter in the fishpond for a while to hatch a plan for the afternoon. Then we were taken under the cars to the very giddy edge (Matlocks Via Ferrata) for lunch, uphill again to a castle, past a duckpond for more views, back along the canal past t'mill & after 16 miles we all ended up in the same Boat together. Thanks to Delta for this invite, Gail for her local knowledge & everyone for great company especially the new members 🙂🙂

Thanks Delta and Gail. How 8 Miles turned into 16 I'll never know. Well done Linda. The look on your face when you realized you had walked 16 miles was something else.

Yes, the rain can't stop us having fun, and don't forget our encounter with the Dalek and the loch Ness Monster, we were lucky to survive it all
Big thanks to Delta and Gail, was a great walk, lovely to meet new faces and catch up with Deka and BlueJohn again. Also well done to Linda, hope the extra 8miles hasn't put you off joining us all again.
