Yes you have my sympathy Keith- get well soon! I fell on a pole once skiing, a ski pole, not an eastern european! Sadly though, these injuries can take several weeks to heal but you're a fit chappy and that always helps. Liz the phizz!!!x

Never broken a rib in me playing days Keith but i did pop the rib cartilage and boy oh boy did that hurt. Everyone ive known with a rib injury is the same, docs leave it not unless threatening lungs etc way back theyd bind you up.

I shall not lower the tone Glen as poor Keith cannot laugh with his ribs, i shall merely ignore your attempt to hijack his thread and again wish him well in his recovery..😋

Xray? You lucky thing. When I went to the docs with suspected cracked ribs she jabbed me in the chest reet hard with two stiffened fingers, then said, "Nah, you haven't got cracked ribs. You didn't scream load enough!"🤔

Apparently its harder to crack ribs than you might think, so lets hope its just bruising.

I find Old Peculiar makes a pretty good painkiller 🙂 ... Get Well Soon
