Remembrance weekend Borrowdale
I would like to thank Kate for yet again putting this event on and all the organisation involved around it.
Of course special thanks for organising the tasty food on Friday evening.
Stephen also deserves a special mention for the walk on Saturday and also the skilful strategic route he used to take us to the top of Great Gable and back.
And of course, as always, thanks to everybody for their company. That's what really makes it.

Sorry for late response Kate! It was so lovely to join you, Dave and some of the Remembrance weekend crew for the meal. Thanks for all your hard work organising such a fab evening on the Saturday ... lovely to catch up with very dear friends and meet some new friendly ODers 🙂 x
Kate & Stephen thank ooooo sooo much. I still can't believe I made it up and down in those conditions & thanks Trekkie for holding the bac so I didn't get lost. My new jacket thoroughly earned its debut. Fab company all weekend & Colin u need a lesson or three in hiding your contraband & making sure u hv the right utensils to open & drink the contraband. Ha. I am fully trained as you well observed. Learn from the master lol.

Thanks Kate for organising the Remembrance weekend and Friday meal. Sorry we didn't do the Remembrance walk with you all as we knew the weather wasn't going to be good but glad some of you managed to get to the service on Geeat Gable despite the weather conditions. It good to catch up with old and new and we both look forward seeing everyone again soon 🙂
