New walker/scrambler/climber
Hello Everybody,
Just joined this site and pleased to see there's lots going-on and I hope to be joining some of the walks, although some seem to be filling-up fast...
I frequently walk around Bestwood Country Park and surrounding area to escape, when there isn't time to get into the Peak - but this is more suited to those fairly local as only up to 7-8 miles. Let me know if anyone is interested in joining me sometime.
Interested in meeting climbers too...

Strider: ok but I agree with you there. I used to do a walk the back end of Hardwick through Teversal and now it's all managed and overflow car parks ā¹ ruined!
Thanks V. As long as people think that it will remain wild and unspoilt and not over-run with people, like so many other manicured and managed parks around here. So keep it to yourself š
