Snowdon Poetry ???!
Please feel free to add your own verses/crazy rhymes etc... Jonathan x
Oh ma Gawd,
Oh ma lawdy
this ditty's gonna be
slightly bawdy...
Snowdon sat
in regal splendour,
but aprรจs-mount
was just a bender!
Some hardy souls
they beat Crib Goch
(now Cat will never
wash her soch(s).
Snow an' ice
they didn't fear,
as through the mist
they tried to peer...
E-ven-shu-ally
the end was nigh,
ecstasy reigned,
hair awry,
clothes dishevelled
but happy now,
a bucket ticked...
...and then some...
WOW!!!
The rest of us,
The Pyg we trekked,
'twas a wee bit cold
so layers we decked.
Then 'arf way up,
a message came through...
a baby born!!!
To my daughter!
It's true!

Brillinat, Jonathan. There was this piece of string walked in to a bar..... ๐๐๐
Fantastic!
The best yet.๐
A li'l 'ole dear,
sat a-suppin' her tea,
(we forgot she was there,
as we chortled with glee...)
and as toilet humour
crept up to the fore,
she very nearly
fell to the floor!
The jokes were "mixed",
an' yes some were rank,
from giraffes in pubs,
to yankin' the plank...
Bedazed and Bedazzled,
our 'ole dear
just crumbled...
she mounted the stairs
and we felt so humbled.
So a crackin' weekend,
it drew to a close,
we'd talked of fun
(an' sometimes of woes...),
righting the world
in true OD style,
talking and gossip,
mile after mile.
Then finally we,
all took our leave,
with massive thanks
for big star Steve,
as homeward bound
our motors rolled,
yes..roll on the next one!
Adventures..un-fold!
We toasted her
on Snowdon's crag,
then some of us
behind did lag,
chattin' 'bout babes,
nipples and dribble,
I grinned a lot,
and no-one did quibble.
So that first eve,
we laughed and we drank,
giggled lots
(and played a prank...)
Excitement stirred,
at thoughts of the Zip
(harnesses, handcuffs,
were the quip...)
Next day be-came
re-al-it-ee,
ready to fly, to shout out
"Wheeeeeeee!"
We whizzed and squealed,
and hugged and clapped,
our en-er-gee
really was not sapped..
as on to Trefew
we wound our way,
to Rhian's pub,
for dish-'o-the-day.
Then some did leave,
but others stayed,
for jokes sublime
(like knots that frayed...).
