FIRSTLY...huge thanks to Derek and Tracey for their inspiration and leadership 🙂🙂🙂

SECONDLY..." A Wednesday Tale"

'Twas a mite confusin'
wi' leaders (two)
'cos no-one knew
quite what to do.
One was there
and t'other weren't
(no-one wanted
their fingers burnt).
So on we waddled
through mud 'n mire,
led by one
(direction dire?)
An' then, cor blimey,
the other turned up,
we double-taked,
one dropped her cup!
We really didnae
know who to follow.
This path? That path?
This hill? That hollow?
So in the end,
we hit the pub
and drank outside,
a happy club,
a grimy band
from head to toe,
wi' leaders (two),
but all should know,
their teamwork did
a splendid job

There was an old man from Cheshire,
who was feeling a bit under pressure,
although he wrote verse,
it was starting to get worse,
and irritating some for good measure!!!

ONLY A JOKE JONATHAN!!!!! 🙂

Highpeakman: Miss T:
There once were 2 leaders from Derby
Who ate all their protein and carby
They wore super kit
Just looked very fit
And glowed like our own Ken and Barbie

Thanks Derek for taking the lead at short notice. Even though it was sometimes more wonder (where are we going?) than wander. Didn't lack for mud today but the weather more or less held and the company was great as usual. With the added bonus of T joining up with us in Bakewell.

Miss T: "nob" rhymes with job! Anyone who doubts the great job done by D and yourself could be theoretically called that!🙂

Miss T 01/03/2017 18:41

Carpe Diem!: 'a real nob'??😮

I actually can't take ANY credit for today's walk, especially as I wasn't there for most of it!
The route, the mud, the slight detours that may have seemed a bit pointless at the time..😋.....none of it was down to me!lol

I quite enjoyed my walk back to Bakewell from Ashford and I even added another few miles on too....so I probably did as many miles as you lot in the end 😋

..." A WEDNESDAY TALE" CONTINUED...
...
(if anyone doubts,
they're a real nob)
