Problems with site

I've been having issues with logging into and staying logged into the site for a couple of days ๐Ÿค”

I keep getting a 'Privacy Error' page which states that my connection is not secure. It warns me that someone maybe trying to access my profile to get personal info.๐Ÿ˜ฎ

There is a link to click on which allows me back in....but sometimes the format of the site is all over the place! The text and images are in...well...disarray!

Apparently I'm not the only one having issues.

Can anyone (admin??) shed any light?

To Steve
Thank you.

Now fixed. If you're still having problems try F5 again, and then close and re-open the browser.

This is clearly a Chrome problem. For now click the "Continue to Outdoorduo (unsafe)" link for now. Your comms will still be encrypted from browser to website, you'll just get the Google scary message. I am dealing with the support guys to resolve this issue.

I've just started getting the 'privacy error' with Google Chrome. It also wouldn't accept my posts. I've had to start up another search engine that was sitting on my computer to get on.

Still having problems....is anyone else..??

landranger68 08/04/2017 09:26

It is ok when i switch to internet explorer

Roland_C 07/04/2017 12:50

I have used Google Chrome to view www.outdoorduo.co.uk and can view the web site but there is a message Not secure before the web address and https is crossed out. This does not change if I press F5 or click on page refresh.
Mozilla Firefox also says the web site is not secure.

Miss T 07/04/2017 09:20

Site Admin: Pressed F5 and refreshed browser without success. Unless I'm doing something wrong? When/where should we press F5?

Former Site Admin 07/04/2017 08:50

Hi All. If you get the "Privacy Error" its because I have changed the privacy certificate provider. Press F5 or the "refresh browser" button to ensure the latest certificate is downloaded. Hopefully that'll fix it.

Miss T 06/04/2017 21:00

Roland_C: Yes, I use Google Chrome but I have done for a long time! I've never had these issues before. A friend of mine, who is also having the same issues, does too!
Surely we can't be the only ones ๐Ÿค”

I'm still struggling to post, so I'd appreciate it if you could contact site admin on my behalf...thanks๐Ÿ™‚

Roland_C 06/04/2017 11:12

I have found that using Google Chrome browser that I too get the message:
"Your Connection is not Private, Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.outdoorduo.co.uk (for example passwords, messages or credit card details)"
Looking at Outdoor Duo site using Mozilla Firefox browser and Microsoft browser is OK.
I will contact site admin.

Miss T 05/04/2017 22:38

Helvellyn40: I'm not having any problems at all with any other websites etc...just this one. I will try logging in using my daughters Mac and see what happens then.
Thanks for the replies folks ๐Ÿ™‚

It has taken me numerous attempts to post this comment! Grrrr!๐Ÿค”

Helvellyn40 05/04/2017 21:14

Pebbles(Bea): I think it is the devise and or the web browser as Roland mentioned above.

Roland_C 05/04/2017 19:54

I am not sure what the problem is. I suggest you try using another web browser.
Also you could contact site admin.

Helvellyn40 05/04/2017 18:23

I'am not sure this is a problem with this site, are you having the same issue with other sites. I remember a while ago i was having this issue of privacy error with several sites including my email, some how it resolved itself.
