Barcelona and Catalonia
Thinking of planning a walking holiday here, staying in Barcelona. I know there is someone on this site who has organsied a walk in the area.
The information I need is walks in Catalonia accessible by public transport from Barcelona. Easy to moderate walks as it will be in winter, about 5 hour duration, coastal and hill walking with plenty of points of interest.

Madeira, even I'm not old enough to visit Madeira. Actually there is some good walking country on Madeira.

It's actually a Di tour as a possible alternative to Lisbon as the flights to Barcelona are half the price of those to Lisbon this year. If we don't do it at Christmas then it is a trip possibly for Spring time.
