Thanks for all your kind words. 🙂 Thanks to all of you who came on the walk or just to the services. Deka could not have asked for a better goodbye from his friends!!!

What id like to say has all been said already above far better than i could have. But id like to add how incredibly heart warming and very special to be part of and see the OD turn out in memory of our good friend, it made me very proud to be part of our OD community.

What a great way to celebrate a wonderful friend, he travelled far & wide, meeting many new friends along the way. Thanks especially to Kate & HPM xx

Excellent way of remembering Deka, I am certain he would have appreciated it, and the weather despite the best efforts of the BBC weather forecasters to convince us otherwise, stayed dry. Well done HPM.

Yes, many thanks to HPM and to Kate, I don't think yesterday could have gone any better. Deka would have loved seeing us all setting off from his favourite Disley pub in all our walking gear. We'll miss him.

Yes thanks HPM for today's walk which was a fitting remembrance to Deka and our singing did get a few laughs. He would have been smiling at us. ☹

Yes, Dek would have loved today with so many of his friends walking. He was definitely there in spirit and in our hearts. A great walk, thanks for leading Derek and better luck with your singing next time ladies! 🙂
