And what a great day it was! Huge thanks to Derek and Tracey for all their creativity, time, energy and massive generosity of spirit in giving us such a rollicking good treat. The walk, quiz, games and singing were all fabulous. Congratulations to the victorious ladies... savour your year(a rare win, I suspect hee hee). So lovely to see great walking pals again - thanks to all those of you who trekked all the way up north. Lovely...Happy Christmas! xJ

Sorry I missed the walk but delighted to say I was (effectively) first to the bar. Well, alright second! Anyway, a pleasure to see all your smiling faces and so near to Xmas too! June tells me the pub is now under new management %u2026.. the good news being that I'm virtually sure the price of beer has reduced slightly %u2026.. whilst the (very) bad news appears to be the demise of the real fire in the bar area. WSLS! Happy Xmas one and all.
