Thanks so much to Going for Gold, for inspiring, organising and leading today’s walk. A good team decision not to attempt Fairfield as the winds were predicted 45mph on tops. We did 15 miles but can’t really remember the whole route but I know we went from Grassmere past Rydal Mt over Wansdale, through Ambleside, onto Loughrigg and back. 15 miles or so of loveliness. The Food, Jazz quartet and company were equally pleasing

It's a good job you didn't climb Dale, 'cos I've got your poles!!! 🙂 I'll bring them to Flamborough. 🙂 x
