Thanks Richard for organising and leading such a nice walk in mostly dry weather. And thanks Sheila and Paula for your lovely company. What we lacked in numbers we more than made up in laughs. A real tonic.

SAM, it wasn't so much the case of a poor forecast but the sheer amount of water falling from the skies. It chucked it down so badly all Thursday long that I would have needed a diving suit just to go to my car, and I just didn't fancy a long drive in these conditions. I'll come to the next wussie walk, I promise

Thanks Pete, we just about got away with it weatherwise, fuelled by SAM's shortbread. Hope that bracing breeze got rid of Paula's cabin fever.
