Thank you so much for stepping in to lead this walk when Well and Truly needed to be elsewhere ( I send love and Hope to you and your family Rob xx )
The previous days arduous walk and the fact that all my gear was still dripping wet as no access to a drying room meant I did not walk at all on Sunday....... well I did to the car and a couple of shops like😁😁
I’m sorry that I have no photographic evidence of you and Art Angela joining us at Howtown to make our happy throng a round 20, but I really appreciate you joining us and your support thereafter xx

Twenty five: You deserve a special badge for doing both, Ruth. As for the swimmer, I was so transfixed I forgot to take a picture. The image is still in the memory though!

As the only brave soul - or should that be idiot - to do both Saturday and Sunday walks thank you John for the lovely walk on Sunday - surprised you haven’t posted any photos of the swimmer! X

Good to see you on Saturday, John. I hope it's not so long until the next time!

DebbieJ: Very nice to see you too Debbie. Perhaps we can manage a walk when you're next visiting the Lakes. x

Flat cap (Mike): I'm lucky to live close enough to get dried out at home. See you another time, Mike.

Lovely to see you Saturday John, albeit briefly x

Sorry I had to give your walk a miss, John, but unfortunately a microcamper in winter is not a place to dry wet clothes.

Highpeakman: I don't leave anyone behind. Just as well I didn't do the whole of the Saturday walk!

John, thanks for leading this walk after such a hard Saturday.
Many thanks to Angela and yourself for dropping back to be sure that Rhian and I were plodding along ok!!🙂

Bal: Thanks Mike. I couldn't possibly allow people to walk back to Patterdale in that weather after such a long day.

Thank you, Dale. I quite understand why those who did the whole of the Ullswater Way on Saturday were not keen to face a walk the next day. Thankfully, any walk I put on I'm happy to do myself. If anyone else joins in it's a bonus. As the pictures hopefully suggest, we had a good day out. x

Like Dale I didn’t walk Sunday partly at least due to getting involved in the parachute regiment reunion in the White Lion on Saturday night - late night and drinks just forced upon me! Though wet clothes was another factor. Thanks John for driving all that way and back in what was by Saturday night pretty atrocious weather and for supporting the walk.
