Japan and Scicily offering to pay for your holiday!
How weird. We've all been locked up like pre-Christmas turkeys and suddenly countries are bending backwards to spring us from goal: 👏👏

I hear the mountains in Japan all have solar powered vending machines on top. Now that's civilisation 🙂.

Lazlo Woodbine: I didn't know you were the sunbed type Lazlo. Sadly we seem to be the pariah state at the moment, with nobody wanting to "bubble" with us ☹
The Japanese offer is false, Japanese residents are being offered discounts of up to $185 dollars per night but foreigners get nothing. The Sicily offer is genuine though and there are other sweeteners being offered by Bulgaria where beaches will no longer charge for sun beds and brollies and Cancun is offering two for the price of 1 in many hotels. Lazlo Woodbine: hi Doug, my thoughts as well and unsure about spending that long in a plane 🤔
Lazlo Woodbine: but think of the savings you've made this year, not having your 7 hols abroad 😘
The carbon footprint is too big for Japan. Much as I would like to visit I can't justify it to myself.
Lazlo Woodbine: Aww Dougie, let's do Japan instead 👏
Looking to go to Sicily next September. The last trip was amazing.
