South Downs update

Look forward to meeting you all.<img src='theme/emoticon_smile.png' /> Just checked the forecast and its going to be dry and sunny for the weekend with the wind and rain returning Monday <img src='theme/emoticon_smile.png' />

Couple of suggestions if you arrive early.
Looks like rain on Thurs so you might want to look around Lewes, small shops, cafe's and dinky high street. Near to where we are staying, car park post code BN7 3NT. Get out before 5pm as traffic is mad at that time.
Or if you fancy a short stroll you can go to Kingston, BN7 3NT post code for 'The Jugs' pub. You can head east up Juggs Road to the windmill or west up to the downs.

Have booked Taxis for sat morning will cost Â&pound;4.50p each, hope thats ok with you all.

Oh and as mentioned previously, don't forget your wet weather gear.

Have checked with YH...Will be open at 5pm. The Pub at Rodmell open all day, nice little stroll option to Southease and the river. Or if you have more time Lewes is worth a visit.

YH opens at 5, will ask if they can open earlier.

Like Liz, DebbieJ & I are hoping to be there mid afternoon. I was also planning on bringing dinner and eating at the YHA.
