wish i was 53, if its touble with getting the gear back, from campsite, i"ll do it n catch you up,no men available ?? dont leave it to the girls !!
Its on just waiting to see which part of the walk the girls in the support team fancy doing. then I can work out the logistics of where to leave the cars along the route. Keep watching this space bud !
Is this walk on , buddy, or has the irish trip overode this one???
thanks Wiggy ! now that make two. Come on folks we could do with a one or two more.
Davem that was a yes as for support team and sun set but not the challange ha ha
thanks for the advice SA.A few people have expressed an interest in doing various parts of the walk.
The support team are tres important! Tea, a water fill up and a camping chair in Ogwen is a God send. Also, fresh people to join you over the Careddau is important as tired people can make navigation mistakes if the cloud is low, and can help buoy you along the last gruelling section.
sorry wigs was that a yes or a no mate, I'm bloody useless at text talk.
Be not r sorry
I will. R there for support and would love to watch the sun set to
you'll breeze it pal, given your fitness, guts and determination.I think you might end up carrying the packs for some of us boys!
How long to the next stop if I get past tryfan.
Thanks Ruth, your a superstar and not just because you volunteered.
count me in dave would love to see the sun rise and set on Snowdon, cant wait
If I"m not wrong Jo, you shouldve done about 12 n a half miles,17 to go....I think....hence the reason for the support crew........Come on OD , show your support for us challengers !!
Chucks, Dave, thought Jo had it in her for the full walk,to complete the welsh 3000, is a challenge for anyone.....Jo , you get to Tryfan and I will carry your rucksack, myself providing you complete the walk..........buddy !!
Sorry Dave - it's only a couple of days from my trip to America. Hope you have an amazing birthday (and you Snickers) and a victorious climb/descent x
Me Glutton for punishment. I hope to at least get to botton of Tryfan. How many miles is that.
Hi folks,
My thoughts are that the support team can either camp at the lake near the top of snowdon with us, stay at the hostel on pen -y -pass or join us on Saturday.
The two main jobs would be to meet us at the bottom of tryfan and to pick us up at the end of the walk.
So there would be plenty of time to do walks of your own.
I've got 3, 2"man" mountain tents, so if you fancy watching the sun raise and set the accommodation isn't a problem.
Please let me know if your interested so I can start to get things organised.
Thanks, where does the camping come into it?
As far as I know starting very very early hours 3 or 4 from top of Snowdon. Finishing as soon as possible. May need torch, extremely strong painkillers, straight jacket and a bit of electricution to the head after.
Being a newbe .....are we walking at night, or is it just the norm to be kept in the dark !!!
i wont like to be male either Jo if i had to carry your rucksack, you can walk
No way Jo, I"ve seen how far you can walk,n that"ll mean us lads carrying yours all the way
How about the lads supporting us with the tents and our backpacks for as far as we can walk. We will then clap them at the end when they finish. pmsl
same as above for me want to walk as well as support but have got the time off to tag along
Some more info Dave please, I wopuldnt mind being part of the support team but would like to get some walking in as well
What exactly do you want the support team to do?
Hi Pal. Does it mean that the support team can get some walking in on that weekend or is it stopping in the same place to wait for the professionals?!
