Have booked the local Chinese for 7.30 Sat eve
Weather forcast looking unsetteled for next week, will keep an eye on it. If dry will probably get away with just a walking belt, if not then will need back packs. Despite the recent rain it will be dry and firm underfoot except for a short section through the forest.
Bring flasks and food down with you, have arranged for these to be waiting for us at Alfriston (9 mile point)
Penty of rest and drink stops along the way so no need to carry to much with us.
