Carpe Diem!: Not to your house it wont! I'm choosing new team captains for both the boys and girls teams, so even if the boys win, someone else will get to polish the trophy every week

Kate H   on 08/11/18 @ 21:46 said:

At what point does the quiz etc happen ? Thinking of booking a bed Fri or Sat or both ??

A bad case of FOMO Jill ?? X

Miss T   on 09/11/18 @ 7:58 said:

Kate H: Last year, the quiz was spread out throughout the walk, where a few questions were asked each time we stopped. I think the last few questions were saved until we were in the pub. I then scored the answer sheets and declared which team won!
Don't worry, there aren't a huge number of questions!

Miss T   on 09/11/18 @ 8:00 said:

We currently need more boys to even up the numbers. Get your names down

Carpe Diem!   on 09/11/18 @ 18:51 said:

Miss T: Great idea to shuffle and share the captaincy. The females certainly need something doing to increase their chances after last year's dismal showing.

Carpe Diem!   on 09/11/18 @ 18:54 said:

Anyway with Ad and Dek we've got quality if not quantity...

Carpe Diem!   on 09/11/18 @ 18:54 said:

Miss T   on 14/11/18 @ 11:12 said:

New to the site but this looks a lot of fun

Highpeakman   on 13/12/18 @ 21:32 said:

barbp-j, EMids Mountain Girl : Yes, several are staying at Hartington Youth Hostel on Friday and/or Saturday.
Everyone is welcome for all or part of the weekend. Friday and Sunday are short but tougher scenic walks, whilst Saturday is a pleasant but easier walk, as for once the Festive frolics are the priority, so feel free to bring mulled wine, mince pies etc if you wish, plus Christmas attire is most welcome!!!

Highpeakman   on 13/12/18 @ 21:36 said:

Ally: Love to see you both!!! Devonshire Arms is the answer to your silly question!!! x

barbp-j   on 15/12/18 @ 8:51 said:

I am booked into double room Friday / Saturday night if anyone wants to share x
