Hi Steve, can only give you positive feedback! Have really enjoyed being on this site for 7 years and most of my adventures have been because of OD. Leaving now with loads and loads of fantastic memories.

OD is a great organisation. Have met good friends, and had some great walks.

Good evening, just joined the site and so not quite up to speed on the correct protocols . I am free on that date and would love to join you? Anything special I need to bring?

Ruby Walls   on 17/09/18 @ 22:10 said:

Cliffe: good evening, it would be great if you could join us. You'll need ?1 for the car park, a couple of sandwiches and that's about it. We do stop at a cafe so the sandwiches aren't even essential.

Cliffe   on 17/09/18 @ 22:39 said:

Ruby Walls: Gosh, you were quick to reply . Thanks for for the tips, do you know how long the walk is likely to take? Long drives for me frown Dalton in Cumbria, so may need to overnight somewhere if a late finish and I have no experience of walking in a group?

jo_jo   on 17/09/18 @ 23:23 said:

Cliffe: look forward to meeting you on your 1st OD adventure and you will find that walking in a group is much more fun. Have replied to your pm

Not sure if anyone reads comments on past walks, but I just wanted to say a big thankyou to Ruby and Jo_Jo. It was a well orgaised walk, I had a great first experience with the group who make me feel welcome. Thanks again.

Camino Queen   on 12/10/18 @ 5:23 said:

Hi Cliffe...as a newbie to the group the etiquette is to go to the forum section and you'll see people put a thank you and tend to comment there...hope that helps.
They usually bring cake too but as I explained you forgot that bit of the initiation ritual. ha ha
Beat you up the hill on another walk and I hope you're enjoying OD..Di
