Hi Steve, can only give you positive feedback! Have really enjoyed being on this site for 7 years and most of my adventures have been because of OD. Leaving now with loads and loads of fantastic memories.

OD is a great organisation. Have met good friends, and had some great walks.

sorry I can't make it...I went to the Ecclesbourne school in Duffield

Are you intending doing more than just the Ecclesbourne way? Ecclesbourne way website has it at 10.6 miles plus another mile if you do the Alport diversion. As an alternative for cheapskates there is also a bus (Trent Barton 6.1)from Wirkswirth to Duffield at 0955. And buses every hour if anyone cant do the full distance and wants to bale out about halfway at Idridgehay. I intend to join you at Duffield

Hi, I shan't be there on Sunday, but my bits of advice for what they are worth.
50's weekend on the railway so might be busy, and discounts for period dress.
The best pub in Wirksworth is meant to be the Oak in North end, but I would suggest the Feathers in Market street, very earthy and if you want to bring along your take away, you can do. Sorry you are going to get wet.
