Hi, It's a great site and works well I have met someone indirectly as a result Cheers
Highonahill

I had email conversations with a few guys and all seemed lovely. I met up with someone from the site and have started seeing him and am very hopeful that I won't be needing Outdoor Duo again!

Within a week on Outdoor Duo back in March 2017 ... one of my matches turned out to be my soul mate; and we are still happily together ... running, cycling, climbing, walking and planning new challenges

We are always up for a scramble. We've done all the scrambles mentioned except Slab and Notch. So let us know when you are heading to Pillar. We have 2 harnesses and a rope.

Ok, Cathy, I'll bear that in mind.

I would be very interested if I'm around once the dates are fixed. I'm quite happy to bring my climbing gear and spare harnesses and helmets if anyone requires them

Stephen: Would be interested if the weather is dry,but can't make mid week.
I also have a rope and spare harness.

Ok, it looks as though there is some interest! I'm on holiday for over 2 weeks from tomorrow - when I return I might post the Cam Crag ridge in Borrowdale as an easy starter, with lots of options at Grade 1/2/3. We can think about Pillar Rock sometime, but that definitely needs a climber to protect the route with ropes.

Hi Stephen as disscused last year, I am up for some summer scrambling, and understand it would be fairly short notice, just hope I don't miss the post, so if you think on please message me and I will get a email on my phone.

This is a very nice invite and what a great photo! I'm sorry to be missing this but am elsewhere the BH weekend. Have fun everyone and take care.

I may be interested but only have June 10th/11th and possibly 24th/25th free in this time frame and fair weather only. Also I'd leave Birmingham 5.30-6am on the Saturday to get to Lakes by 10am so couldn't start earlier. I'm not sure of the different grade scrambling expectations. I did Napes and Sphinx 35ish years ago without a care in the world. Found Striding Edge a bit dull a couple of weeks ago with my older daughter until we found an exciting alternative descent bit to avoid the queue to go down the bit before the final slabs. That made it worthwhile!
