Thank you Outdoor Duo for connecting us back in 2015 ... 3 years on we're now a happily married couple! V&M x

I have met somebody to share with.

This has been a great group for friendships and great outdoor experiences as well as for dating. I now have a life partner, and have recommended OD to others who've joined. My heartfelt thanks to you! xx

Hi this sounds great so will check logistics as always like to pop n see my Son who lives in south wales if walking in that area. If anyone fancies car share from Notts area let me know or room share. Don't do hostels but a nice b n b is cool

Camino Queen: Hello Di. There are limited places on the Platinum route and be aware we would all need to be in at least groups of 2 with 1 person in each being a confident navigator.

Enjoy it, I have done the Platinum 3 times I think, twice from Llanthony and once they dropped us further East. Pen Carrig Calch is my nemesis, and the walk in to Abergavenny at the end always seems to take forever! The Silver route I have done many times and is a great day out. I hope you get some good weather on the day.

Hello Tracy. We had great weather last year but I know it might not be the case this year. Anything is still possible in March . Plus how far is CP2 on Pen Cerrig Calch from CP1 on Bal Mawr?? A flipping long way . We got a bit caught out with it last year .
Are you tempted to jump on the Platinum this year? It would be great if you could make it. A little bit of local knowledge never hurts. No racing just a nice steady pace

mattsmyname: Hi Matt. I've just been on the site, but can only see that the Gold route is now full. I couldn't see anything on the home page about a closing date of the 31st Jan. You should be able to get a place on the Platinum, but I would hurry and sign up asap. Use the Paypal option and once your payment goes through you have a place. Good luck. Hope you get in. Keep me posted

mattsmyname: I found the part where it says pre-entries close on the 31st of January. I'm not sure what that is about as you can still enter. If you go to the payment part there is only the Gold route option blocked out (as it's full). The other 3 are still open. Hope that kind of clears that up
