What has OutdoorDuo done for me?

I have met a very special lady through this site. Thank-you for your help
Barry M

It was a great experience to join OD back in April 2016 and meet some very nice like-minded people; I enjoyed some amazing walks that I would otherwise never discovered.
Happysoul77

I met M on the site about 2 years ago and we are now about to move in together. I keep recommending people to OD as it's been fantastic and I've loved being part of the 'family'.Thank you for everything.Vee

I have found someone and we are getting along very well. I am pleased I heard about your Site from a friend as I consider it to be a good genuine site for finding someone compatible. Many thanks

Very interested in doing this, it will be my first walk with outdoor duo! I live in Nottingham so looking at staying Friday/Saturday nights. The YHA Haworth is a possibility. Would be interested in the evening meal for sure. I would call my self a seasoned walker but not a scrambler! I would expect a 10 mile walk to take around 5 hours (including a couple of breaks). Would like to know how you would describe the terrain before making a final decision.

Chrissie2014: the walk does indeed take around 5 hours with a couple of stops. The ascents are gradual with absolutely no scrambling and there are firm paths and tracks throughout. Not a problem for a seasoned walker.

Haworth Y.H.A.is a beautiful, full of character building, iv stayed many a time.
So I would recommend a stay there, definitely.

Thanks for the info about the walk PeterK, unfotunately a family weekend has been arranged, which I am reluctant to miss because we don't get together very often! Hope you have a wonderful walk and I'll definitely come out with you another time.

Really sorry to be missing this walk Peter, hopefully it will come around again.

PeteK   on 07/02/18 @ 19:39 said:

As the take-up is so poor and the weather forecast even worse, I'm cancelling this walk. I may put it on again later in the year if there's any demand.

Shame. It's one I fancied but not in those weather conditions. Maybe next time
