What has OutdoorDuo done for me?

I have met a very special lady through this site. Thank-you for your help
Barry M

It was a great experience to join OD back in April 2016 and meet some very nice like-minded people; I enjoyed some amazing walks that I would otherwise never discovered.

I met M on the site about 2 years ago and we are now about to move in together. I keep recommending people to OD as it's been fantastic and I've loved being part of the 'family'.Thank you for everything.Vee

Found a partner
Lorna burton

I have found someone and we are getting along very well. I am pleased I heard about your Site from a friend as I consider it to be a good genuine site for finding someone compatible. Many thanks

I love Clun but I'll be in Madeira that weekend.

Can’t make this as I’ll be on Al’s ski trip but visited with this area last year and was truly blown away by how beautiful and hilly it is. I stayed at the most gorgeous converted mill at Birches Mill, which sleeps 3 (& an adjacent one which sleeps 2) and spent each morning running parts of Offa’s Dyke. if anyone wants to details, let me know. Enjoy!

Hi Indiana Jane, hope you can go ahead with a walk on this day as would like to come up for Ian’s Saturday invite and it makes sense to make a week end of it.

Can’t make Ian’s Saturday walk as at a concert in Newcastle Friday night but can make this one. Will find somewhere to stay and take the Monday off

mattsmyname: Looking forward to seeing you Matt. Clun is a great area for walking around. A real mixed bag of terrain.
Dale: Awwww Dale that's a shame. Hopefully bump in to you again soon.

Mountain Heather: Thanks for the suggestion about Birches Mill. I had a look at it but I've decided to treat myself to a room of my own in the White Horse in the middle of Clun. I'd like to suggest that people come and eat there on Saturday evening so that I don't have to go anywhere.

Indiana Jane: Hi, was a bit keen with accommodation and booked into a bnb in Church Stretton for Sat night which is a bit of shame we’re not all together. Hope to still eat in Clun though.

I’m booked into the White Horse at Clun now. Never been to this area before so really looking forward to another.................. “Interesting time”

Thanks Jane, sometimes think it’s better not to have recced it so we can all enjoy the unknown. I’m sure we’ll be fine. Probably not going to eat in Clun Saturday eve unfortunately as staying in Church Stretton and now realise it would be an hour drive round trip.

Hi Peoples, apologies for missing this one, and not sharing out the Birthday cake a late night after the concert and we also needed to look at the mis-behaving car that limped back to my place, we managed to do a fix on it that should get Snowdoniawhite back Home.

Hope the weather was good for you and you had a fantastic time. Clun and the surrounding countryside are great areas for walks. I will make more of an effort from now on to do walks in and around this area. Thanks Jane for doing this walk and giving our fellow OD'ers a chance to walk in unfamilar territory with likeminded friends and be safe.
