Thank you Outdoor Duo for connecting us back in 2015 ... 3 years on we're now a happily married couple! V&M x

I have met somebody to share with.

This has been a great group for friendships and great outdoor experiences as well as for dating. I now have a life partner, and have recommended OD to others who've joined. My heartfelt thanks to you! xx

I'm happy to shuttle but I won't have dogs in my car I'm afraid.

Bike and Boat   on 13/01/18 @ 8:53 said:

Should be fine but I'll have to see on the day. If I'm there I'm there!

suz (Suzanne)   on 18/01/18 @ 8:09 said:

Hi, if you are ok with my slightly slower pace I'd like to join you and bring a fitter walking friend, Christina.

keith2015   on 19/01/18 @ 11:19 said:

Matt: It will be great to see you.

Suz: I’m sure we can accommodate your slightly slower walking pace - although we might have to give Lizzie a little ball and chain to slow her down a bit . And your friend is very welcome too. I haven’t got your phone number though so could you pm me that please as we may need to liaise about transport. Thanks

Wysiwyg    on 20/01/18 @ 9:06 said:

Sorry Keith I’ll be away so can’t make this one. I hope you all have a lovely walk.

lizzied   on 21/01/18 @ 16:47 said:

Hi Keith. Would it be ok to bring along a friend too please? She and I did the previous leg together when I was doing the catch up.

keith2015   on 25/01/18 @ 21:39 said:

Sorry everyone, 10 Feb is no longer convenient for me so I'm changing the date to 3 March, with apologies to anyone who could make the old date but can't do the new one.

lizzied   on 25/01/18 @ 22:40 said:

I’m still going to do this walk with a friend on 10th Feb. If anyone else can’t make the rescheduled date, please pm me if you’re interested in joining us.

H&B   on 30/01/18 @ 19:29 said:

Hi Lizz. Would be nice to get on with this as it is taking a long time to do. Would you like me to go to the start or the end. I can move three people either way if it helps. Going to offer Suzanne a lift over the bridge, Suzanne if you would like to come to my house as you have done before and you can leave your can here.

lizzied   on 31/01/18 @ 21:41 said:

Hey Doug! Pleased you can come. I’ll be working out a shuttling schedule a few days beforehand when I have definite numbers. Is Suz still planning to bring a friend?
It’ll be good to see you Matty!! Even just for a half walk!!

Peregrina   on 02/02/18 @ 21:24 said:

Just to confirm that I'm still a definite for this one Liz. Happy to shuttle but don't want dogs in my car.

JohnMM   on 03/02/18 @ 10:17 said:

Hello Liz, would like to bring my wife June with me if that's ok. Will be coming via public transport so no impact on shuttling numbers.
Assume you will be posting start time and location nearer the day, what's the scheduled mileage. Thanx, John

lizzied   on 03/02/18 @ 22:19 said:

Hello John, Keith has suggested this section is around 13miles. It’ll be good to meet you and your wife next week. I’ll be putting timings on the site on Thursday evening.

JohnMM   on 04/02/18 @ 16:43 said:

Thanx Liz. Will try and make a better impression this time.

lizzied   on 04/02/18 @ 20:38 said:

Sorry John- hadn’t twigged you were the same John!!! How was Cleveland Way?

JohnMM   on 04/02/18 @ 23:21 said:

Just joking, no apology needed.
Sad to say, all the male contingent fell by the wayside, excuse the pun, only Sarah actually completed the whole walk and Cattermole is still suffering the after effects.
Some very nice, but hard sections that I've walked before as part of the melded Coast to Coast route, one very pretty day in 6-8 inches of snow, but now still sections to go back and complete.

suz (Suzanne)   on 05/02/18 @ 9:43 said:

I am sticking with March 3 date, I assume that will still go ahead Keith?

Montie   on 05/02/18 @ 22:49 said:

Hi Liz pleased to say Zoe and myself can make it - we will be coming separately as I have to work first thing on Saturday. What time is the meet - I will obviously go to Bletchingley and Zoe to Brockham. Happy to help with shuttling if timings work. X

keith2015   on 06/02/18 @ 17:42 said:

Hi Suz, Yes, I’ll still be walking this stage on 3 March.

lizzied   on 06/02/18 @ 17:43 said:

Great- glad you can both come!! Royal Arms pub at Brockham for Zoe at 9.15 and Bletchingly Arms pub at 10 for your good self!!
Ingrid and Sue B also to Brockham please at 9.15 and Dougie and Jan to the Bletchingly Arms at 10. Could Zoe, Ingrid and Sue please come on to Bletchingly in one car, leaving two vehicles there to take us all back to Bletchingly when we’ve finished the walk? I’ll come to the end too at 9.15 with my friend Sue, just in case we’re struggling for room on the way back. Hope that works ok!! See you all Saturday x

H&B   on 06/02/18 @ 19:09 said:

Hi all.
Is the postcode for Bletchingly arms RH1 4PE and can't find one for Brockham

lizzied   on 06/02/18 @ 22:31 said:

NB Postcodes are as per Keith’s revised invite on March 3rd

Montie   on 07/02/18 @ 8:10 said:

lizzied: That will be fine Liz - I suggest that Zoe leaves her car there so the dogs can go in her car on the way back as am sure there will be mud! X

Montie   on 07/02/18 @ 8:56 said:

lizzied: Just to say it is the Royal Oak pub (not Arms unless just changed its name?) at Brockham (postcode RH3 7JS) and for Bletchingley Arms pub (postcode RH1 4PE). Looking forward to it and hope it warms and brightens up! xx

lizzied   on 07/02/18 @ 23:04 said:

Thanks Montie

Bike and Boat   on 09/02/18 @ 19:21 said:
