Thank you Outdoor Duo for connecting us back in 2015 ... 3 years on we're now a happily married couple! V&M x

I have met somebody to share with.

This has been a great group for friendships and great outdoor experiences as well as for dating. I now have a life partner, and have recommended OD to others who've joined. My heartfelt thanks to you! xx

Hi Kate
Many thanks for the invitation, I can travel on Sunday from Windermere and join you for the remembrance walk if that's OK. If there is any singing involved - not very good I'm afraid
Regards Barrie

KateB    on 15/10/18 @ 17:52 said:

Barrington B: Hi that's great, we will be leaving very early though, probably 7/7.30am on the Sunday morning. On the plus side, no singing is required!

Hi Kate, I'm going to opt out this time for the remembrance but will definitely plan better next year. So sorry to mess you about but should have kept my booking initially at the YHA which I had cancelled a few weeks ago. Have a great remembrance Sunday anyway and see you next year! Nadia xx

Hi Kate, do you know if anyone is planning to walk on Friday? Just working out my travel etc - thanks

TC   on 03/11/18 @ 21:52 said:

Hi Catwalker! I'm planning to drive up early Friday morning and will walk at about 11 if the weather is OK. Am sure others will as well. Not decided where yet but will be around 4 hours. We were out after dark last year . Didn't do us any harm, head torches can be useful at this time of year

catwalker   on 04/11/18 @ 10:17 said:

Thanks TC, sounds great! Head torch will be packed, just in case

KateB    on 06/11/18 @ 8:33 said:

jo_jo: yes that's fine but we will be heading out early. You would need to be at our YHA by 7am. Is that OK with you x

chrissy100   on 06/11/18 @ 10:07 said:

Hi. Sorry I’m having to pull out. I injured my back in September and its still not right. Have a great time.

Barrington B   on 08/11/18 @ 8:32 said:

Hi Kate - traveling from Windermere on Sunday so if a little late press on without me, I am quite a fast walker and will catch up.

Barrington B   on 08/11/18 @ 11:22 said:

Hi Kate - what is you planned accent for Sunday? from Borrowdale YHA via Seathwaite and Sty Head or Seatoller, Honister and Gray Knotts?
Many Thanks

KateB    on 08/11/18 @ 17:10 said:

Barrington B: If the weather is good it will be Seathwaite to Sty head, if not we will go from Honister. However there are usually a few who choose to go via Honister as its a shorter route. I think they leave at 8am, if you pm me your mobile number I can confirm times over the weekend when we have discussed it.

jo_jo   on 08/11/18 @ 18:18 said:

KateB: thanks Kate that's great. I will be there for the start x
