Sorry from me too Keith! I'm working yet again that Saturday!
Just done leg 5 today with a friend. Only had a very old Landranger map which didn't have the GW marked on it. The signage was very sporadic so not sure how much of our route was actually off- piste!!

Shame about that Lizzie. If you need to do a catchup on this section too then you might want to invest in a new map. They aren’t expensive if you buy them on-line through Dash4it. Hope you’ll be able to make the next leg anyway

Peregrina   on 11/10/17 @ 16:40 said:

Oh no. I can't do that weekend as I have a friend staying - and she doesn't walk! I was so hoping I could do this one with everyone as there is a little secret gem along the way I wanted to share.

Peregrina   on 11/10/17 @ 16:42 said:

The Skimmington is a lovely pub, as is the Dolphin in Betchworth which is also on (or very near) the route. Although I guess the Skim is more half way than the Dolphin so better for a lunch stop.

Anyone else want/need to catch up stage 5 beforehand, let me know.

Rick: As Ingrid can't make it on 18th Nov, how about you do a Stage 5 catchup on 18th Nov, and I move Stage 6 to either 2nd December or a date in January? Neither Cattermole nor Heathervalley have done Stage 5 so if they can walk on 18 Nov you will probably have them for the catchup.

Heathervalley   on 18/10/17 @ 22:22 said:

I haven't done any of the previous stages of the Greensands Way, just intended to do one section of it. I would very much like to walk parts of the coastline of Kent.

Heathervalley   on 18/10/17 @ 22:37 said:

Well I'd like to walk all of it. I realise that your walk is inland though.

Hi Keith, sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I was waiting for a date to check for clashes; all ok. I'm hoping to do it before then and your section as well. Don't change your date for me. Anyone out there for the 11/12th or 4/5th Nov?
