Hi sosrry just dealing with Monarch Madeira holiday as you know it has gone into admin. All ok due to ATOL protection. I just want to let you know this tour is with an agency for a better deal for flight/hotel. However the flight out is with ryan air and inbound is easyjet. I'm happy to go ahead but you need to be aware. Get back to you later today re deposits etc Thanks for your patience Di

Camino Queen   on 02/10/17 @ 14:24 said:

Hi ok finally. So two flights on offer - one from Manchester to Majorca or alternative is London Stansted. Both nice times outbound and inbound. Stansted flight is ?10 more epensive so cost is ?10 more for holiday sorry. Outbound is Ryan Air, Inbound Easyjet. So both ATOL protected as is agency but please always get travel insurance at time of booking. If you email me at with your choice of flight, full name and date of birth I can then organise deposit payment with receipt. Thanks for your patience....Sorry no BA flights - did try!

Camino Queen   on 03/10/17 @ 7:49 said:

HI thanks to all of you for emailing me. I will set up a private fB page later to invite you to. It seems most people are flying from Manchester including me. We can talk car/fuel/parking fees sharing later. Just awaiting deposits then can book the tour. Thanks again Di

Janhk   on 05/10/17 @ 9:58 said:

I'll still fly from Stansted so happy to share driving/parking costs if any southerners want to join me.

Carol_J   on 10/10/17 @ 10:15 said:

Hi Di & Dougie, I would love to come too. Would prefer the Stansted option - if that is OK.

Camino Queen   on 11/10/17 @ 6:23 said:

Hi CarolJ lovely to have you on tour again. Im booking Stansted for you and Jank so will give you info asap.
Sorry unless you booked and paid deposit NOW full.

I have now agreed an itinerary with our guides for walks.

19th April, a nice easy start in the southern mountains walking to the Puig de ses Basses and along the coastal path.
A bit like one of our Wednesday walks.
20th April, we head to the picturesque resort of Porto Soller and walk over a couple of mountain passes to Cala Tuent where we can take a swim. Remember cossies or skinny dip. We then take a ferry back to Porto Soller and referssh ourselves with a cold beer at beach bar.
21st April. This is our guides choice and I have no idea where it will be other than it will be scenic and about the same difficulty as the previous walk.

Lazlo Woodbine   on 20/10/17 @ 11:35 said:

22nd April, our hardest day. A walk up Puig Galatzo which is the mountain which over looks Palma. At 3,600 ft it is the highest mountain by a lon way in the South so has excellent views. A short scramble required to reach the summit.
23rd April, A walk from Cuber resevoir to the summit of Tossals Verds, at 3800ft the thitd highest peak in the Serra Tramuntana and great view point. This will be a half day walk allowing us to grab some rays and a swim at the hotel.
24th is your own day. Last year some arranged a walk on the Island of Dragoners. Jo-Jo would be your guide on this.

Do you think there would be a similar trip to Majorca in September this year? Can't really take any time off work in March. I really want to walk in September, it's a great time of the year to walk.

Camino Queen   on 28/01/18 @ 21:01 said:

Hi guys so the Ryan Air flight from Manchester booking ref is MUIF7D and the inbound Easy Jet home is ET15MGG
For the two Stansted ladies the booking ref is ET15MVD
You can now book seats and baggage if you want but sign in with my email Any problems just message me. Thanks for your patience Di

Camino Queen   on 06/04/18 @ 21:49 said:

HI so can you all go on to EasyJet and put in your passport details and contact information. You can't check in until we have all done it for a bizarre reason to do with an agency booking with me as the lead passenger - so don't lose me! I do come in handy so treat me nice on holiday.
Ryan air is fine just go ahead. Thanks Di

Camino Queen   on 08/04/18 @ 9:20 said:

HI so contacted Easyjet and you cannot check in until we all have so if you haven't please do so. If using Ryan Air ignore this. If you wish to add baggage and pay for seating due to the slight wait whilst everyone does this and cancellations are removed you can call Easy Jet on 0330 365 5000, open 7 days a week: 08:00 - 20:00 (UK Time). You do not need to check in first. Ok and don't worry a couple of days and all will be sorted. Message me direct if problem Thanks Di

Camino Queen   on 13/04/18 @ 9:00 said:

Morning guys you can now Check in for your inbound Easy Jet fiight and add any baggage or paid seating online as everything is in place. Thanks for your patience and understanding Di. Happy hiking weekend and see you either at the airport or in Spain.....Watch out for June Maw she has a special treat for you all.
