What has OutdoorDuo done for me?

  Add a 'What has ...'

Great site. Met someone very special. Thanks for your help.

Within a week on Outdoor Duo back in March 2017 ... one of my matches turned out to be my soul mate; and we are still happily together ... running, cycling, climbing, walking and planning new challenges

Thank you, I really like this site. I've met someone so coming off for a while but could be back and would certainly recommend to like minded people

I have met someone

I made a friend straight away! Thank you

Hi Heather, I am due to be travelling north then for Scotland adventure but will see what can be re-arranged.

would have been interested in this as i haven't been to Norfolk but will be traveling back from the Alps. Maybe another time?

P the T: the Norfolk coast will probably be warmer and drier than Scotland!
Mountain Heather: I could arrange another camping w/e next year. Norfolk is fairly flat, with a coastline of wide sandy beaches, marshes, mud flats, shingle and a few cliffs and big skies. It's a good place to go to relax.

Am planning to walk from Burnham Overy Staithe to Wells-next-the-sea on the 14th of October and possibly continue some of the way towards Stiffkey.

Heathervalley: Hi,may be interested, are dogs allowed on the camp site/ walks. Have tried to check on website but no mention. Does say though only open till 1/10. Do they now stay open later in the year as well

Morningdawn: dogs aren't unfortunately allowed on the campsite because of local wildlife but you're welcome to bring your dog on the walks. I have confirmed my October booking with the site owner and the website says that the campsite stays open until early January so it is only closed from January to March each year. Norfolk has a mild climate but I don't think I'll be camping in December!

Thanks Heathervalley for info. A bit too far without camping for the walk. Enjoy your weekend

Heathervalley: hope your visit to this campsite is a recce for another adventure next year that I will be able to attend.

PTT: I don't know how this adventure will go! I'll be camping with 2 lovely friends who are good cooks, keeping warm by burning firewood, walking along parts of the coastal path and trying not to get hypothermia while showering almost al fresco!

Two very lovely friends are walking and camping with me, but please let me know if anyone would like to join us for camping or walks. The walk on Sunday 15th may be a walk on Holkham beach, one of the widest and most beautiful beaches in Norfolk.
