Thanks Phil ...I'm a definite now. Why not get 2 Club Apartments? Unless others want to pay less

jo_jo   on 12/09/17 @ 21:59 said:

Phil H: Thanks so much for the update Phil. Rose, Glyn2 and myself will be booking a 2 bedroom Club apartment. I also like the idea of getting in some walks.

Phil H   on 12/09/17 @ 22:06 said:

I'm happy to go with what people want ... looks like the decision has gone out my hands anyway!

Chris50   on 12/09/17 @ 22:24 said:

Phil H: Thanks. I'm happy to go with a club apartment. Do they include electricity because we'll certainly need a bit of heating in February.

Phil H   on 12/09/17 @ 23:01 said:

The club ones include electricity. Just waiting for a reply from Nickey now.

Dale   on 13/09/17 @ 7:23 said:

I will probably be booking with my friend but should catch up with you all there

Phil H   on 13/09/17 @ 14:41 said:

The 3 girls are booking their own chalet. That leaves 3 blokes. Booking a single sex chalet (even male) seems to add a ~?20pp surcharge, so I'll hang off booking for a few days to see if a better plan can be formulated.

Carpe Diem!   on 14/09/17 @ 8:39 said:

Phil H: thanks Phil ... I'm on the OD Italian trip from early next Wed so would like to be sorted before then.
In terms of a better plsn, what are the alternatives? Won't everything get booked up very quickly? Thanks J

Marileena   on 14/09/17 @ 23:25 said:

Yoo Hoo folks, room for me?

Tracy (no 'e'!)   on 19/09/17 @ 18:46 said:

Hi Phil, am I too late? Or do we have to wait for a third female for another room and/or wait for more female bands to become available?

Phil H   on 20/09/17 @ 18:59 said:

Normal OD weekend organised chaos reigns I'm afraid! You could book for 2 but its probably worth hanging on a bit for a 3rd, seems to be a general OD consensus that 3 is best compromise for spaceiousness etc, but it's up to you what you all want.

Dale   on 21/09/17 @ 7:35 said:

Tracy, me and my friend get a two bed roomed, the chalets that are a bit more expensive but have heating in. You can leave it on all the time and not worry about using electric cards, the chalets are basic but adequate and you will find you will be out at classes and stuff a lot. The female places go quick due to their need to gender balance and there are more women dancers than men. Just a thought

Happy Gal   on 28/09/17 @ 13:52 said:

YES maybe, love Ceroc and salsa, etc etc but need to decide on skiing date first! Will let you know and hope for space. Thanks!

Happy Gal   on 04/10/17 @ 9:30 said:

Definitely now, skiing in January. Cheers!

Tracy (no 'e'!)   on 07/10/17 @ 17:02 said:

All booked, sharing with Happy Gal, looking forward to it!

Carpe Diem!   on 08/10/17 @ 1:22 said:

Tracy (no 'e'!):as usual can you lend me a ski helmet for this event as helps me to focus

Shaza    on 27/10/17 @ 19:36 said:

I get soooo confused by these events cos you have to book with an equal number of chAPS but I would love to come

Phil H   on 29/10/17 @ 0:27 said:

We need more chaps! If any males are thinking of, or being arm twisted, into going please dont book without of thinking of a cunning plan to get more women in, e.g. we book 2 mixed chalets and then swap round to make 2 single sex. Shaza, I do have a spare female wristband but it is only of any use if you negotiate sofa/bed space in one of the other chalets.

Phil H   on 29/10/17 @ 0:41 said:

There are still some 1 bedroom budget chalets that can be booked for 1 female.
