Great site, for finding outdoor people, have met my soulmate, thank you

Hi, It's a great site and works well I have met someone indirectly as a result Cheers

I had email conversations with a few guys and all seemed lovely. I met up with someone from the site and have started seeing him and am very hopeful that I won't be needing Outdoor Duo again!

Found someone fab on Outdoor Duo!!Best £5 I’ve ever spent

Great site. Met someone very special. Thanks for your help.

Regards Climbing, officially im a novice as i usually just scramble up anything. as for recent skills with ropes etc have been Ab sailing, Cave traversing, dangling on ropes etc underground at Go-Below underground adventures going back soon to do Hero-extreme as ultimate extreme didn't really challenge me. So Symonds Yat has been on my radar for a while. But understand if your not willing attach me to your ropes if you are going to use any. i don't have any of my own equipment thus far.. so if you are happy for me to just tag along and just do my usual Ridge dancing with camera, Splendid.. i have ordered Dry Sunny weather for ultimate scrambling and climbing

Ridgewalker   on 23/08/17 @ 15:14 said:

In the meantime i have a endurance MTB Marathon in Hope to tune up for Splendid is an OD year

Louise - living life   on 24/08/17 @ 6:23 said:

I like the idea of ordering the dry sunny weather Ridgewalker - i'm a lapsed climber so my level isn't too advanced just yet so you will probably be okay - and bring on the photos

Ridgewalker   on 25/08/17 @ 13:36 said:

Campsite booking sent for FRI-Sat

Lissie   on 26/08/17 @ 7:03 said:

Having climbed with these guys before, I can promise it's going to be really relaxed. Although I climb indoors, I'm pretty new to climbing outdoors. It'll be a lovely weekend! I'm travelling down on Saturday morning, so just camping Saturday night. Ridgewalker, just checked the long range forecast - looks great, thank you!!

Louise - living life   on 29/08/17 @ 22:33 said:

torb   on 01/09/17 @ 7:59 said:

Hi Lis, looking good. I will pack extra harness and helmets. Hope to meet up on Sat at Yat carpark. Bring change, I think its ?4 all day. Good coffee in cafe. I know how to get to some of the climbs, a bit of a yomp to most with some stony/muddy path depending on weather. 10.30 Sat x

torb   on 02/09/17 @ 15:05 said:

clifftops   on 02/09/17 @ 18:15 said:

Would have loved to come but only just back from a weekend in the area, and clash this weekend. Next time and with better planning from me.

Louise - living life   on 05/09/17 @ 21:24 said:

Ridgewalker   on 06/09/17 @ 12:53 said:

Jez   on 07/09/17 @ 13:22 said:

Looking forward to this, fingers crossed for the weather, see y'all at the SY car park.
PS it's a biggish car park, I guess we should meet at the northern end near the toilets % cafe?

Louise - living life   on 07/09/17 @ 21:01 said:

i'll be there with a fawn greyhound so you should spot me okay! bringing my waterproofs & walking boots just in case

Lissie   on 08/09/17 @ 6:31 said:

Hm, every time I look at the forecast, it's changed. Thinking Saturday may be a bit ropey. I'll look out some walks as an alternative. All good. See you in the morning!

Lissie   on 08/09/17 @ 9:28 said:

Sorry, not having a local OS map, does anyone have one, please?

Ridgewalker   on 08/09/17 @ 9:40 said:

Rich456   on 08/09/17 @ 9:44 said:

Yes, I've got both 25k and 50k maps although they are a little dated. Also have 50k GPS map so we shouldn't get lost.
