Communication
by The Mind is WillingCall me an old stock in the mud but there was a time when the forum was used for general banter and communication. Do we have nothing to say to/about our fellow walkers in public? I must admit in the early days there were more weekends than day walks so probably more chance for funny moments to share. We also didn't use FB as much. Let's not just use it to thank people. Let's show others how much fun it is to share a walk however daunting our first walk may be!

Hi The Mind is Willing. Well said. It would be lovely to go back to its original concepts on the forum to those funny days. On a weekend or a day walk. And the banter which followed. We all know Od has moved on which it should. But it has sort of lost its mojo a bit. Some of us who's been on the site for a while. Witnessed funny moments. and banter which followed. And yes some of the moments escapade I got up to. And mishaps. Readly shared on the forum. Brought us all altogether. Is like minded people who have a Zest for fun. That is what I believe is missing. And when the banter starts we all had that. Lovely smile oh no faces a lovely moment bee have seen and. Let's hope we can rekindle🙂🙂

PhPhiltheetiler on 14/01/17 @ 20:09Yes there were many moments that are brought to my mind of years ago, The wettest weekend in Coniston where ducks were floating past the Tents,an immersion crossing Hen Beck on the way to Weatherlam, followed by a BBQ under an improvised plastic sheet, but now in drier clothing. This was one of many. That great weekend in Conistion, with the 10 mile circuit from Cat Bell to Robinson and the Little Chapel. Claudette sniffed out a place where cream Teas were sold.🙂
lalandranger68 on 15/01/17 @ 9:55Squibbles: There is a FB site that is ONLY used to share photographs of group walking. This way people could share their walks together and get tagged.
