Remember many years ago that the Marquee was blown down,but my tent had 8 storm poles and remained upright.Happy days🙂
lalandranger68I loved Wasdale 2016....memorable and I'm gutted...but agree it's a good decision.
TOTrotOnI am doing Scafell pike with OD members tomorrow...so wish us luck with the water.
Might go in the opposite direction on the long day, just to reduce the slippery sections.

Sad. I was going to go to the show again with some pals . ..oh well. Next year.

lalandranger68landranger68:Thanks for your advice, the approach to Seathwaite was without any flooding and the circuit of Scafell Pike was in perfect conditions. The becks were nowhere near full, considering 210mm of rain was measured at Honister the day before.
TOTrotOnIt was a good decision to stick with the walk!
