I have a daily diet of Ibuprofen, but the only certain cure is an operation to remove it☹

Mine bother me towards the end of a long walk, you can have an operation to remove them which I've heard is very successful. It could also be a bit of arthritis. Hope you get it sorted.

You'll need a saw as well, Minty, and some screws! I had both my bunions surgically corrected together in November 2014. I can vouch for the procedure, although I actually had more pain under a hammer toe and I had that sorted out at the same time. There are various bunion operations available %u2013 the scarf osteotomy, which I had, is a popular one. At the risk of being accused of posting offensive and indecent images, I'll upload some 'before and after' photos in 'Pictures' to give an idea of what is involved and the surgical correction achievable.

I learnt the painful way not to play football with the dogs with a standard football after mind flared up. Took me a couple if weeks to connect the problem with the source. Good luck 🙂
