A huge thanks to everyone who came along and for the cards and prezzies. Wet and windy it may have been but I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my 70th than with you lovely people. Btw Richard, happy birthday for today. What's it like to be my age now?
Thanks to everyone for the cards, gifts and most of all your good selves for joining us on a classic PeteK type day in the Peak.
As in real life we a had a quiet moment to count our blessings and then head directly to the pub.
Pete it feels like the OD walks where I arrive late but catch up in the end. I suggest we extend the Combs Moss scale up to 70 in memory of the day.
What a happy day. We'll do it all again when you're 80 Pete and Richard. Yes?
