Is there a future for walkers of long distance footpath
by landranger68Having set out on June 14th to enjoy a 186 mile circular walk on a complete loop of the Shropshire Way in contrast to the three previous years of being blasted by 60 mph gales and horizontle rain, was hoping for enjoyment in raising funds for Macmillan, but once again thwarted by the abdication of responsibilities of path maintainance.
This being my 16th annual trail for Macmillan completely disillusioned.
Photos to follow.Shropshire County Council have spent money expanding the area with all signage, but no inferstructure.Iwill be in touch with this county Council,do not accept this crap about cutbacks. The trail is well advertised, but in my opinion the northern loop should be closed to walk
